The Office of Corporate, Foundation, and Government Relations (CFGR) coordinates Hampshire College’s fundraising from institutional donors. Working with senior college administrators, including the president, dean of faculty, program directors, and school deans, we develop proposals that fulfill the strategic needs of the college and its academic programs. Currently, the top priorities include financial aid, faculty salaries, and facilities renewal and upgrade. These priorities are addressed in various working groups formed to develop institutional grants.
Our Office also helps individual faculty members secure support for teaching and research. We do this by identifying funding sources, developing and editing proposals, preparing budgets and guiding proposals through the internal approval process.
